Who Can Learn? Are you at least 10 years old? Are you in reasonably good health? Can you swim 200 yards (no time limit)? Yes you can be a diver!
What Is Involved? The Course is divided into three parts.
Self Study: You do this before the course, using our self study materials. Learn at your own pace, in the comfort of your own home, and most important at your convenience.
Academic Review & Skill Development: Here we review all of the information you have mastered at home, then get in the water where you will see and then practice diving's fundamental skills.
Skill Application: In the final phase of the course you will apply what you have learned in confined water on a series of open-water dives either at Mermet Springs orRolla Quarry.
When Can You Learn?Because we specialize in training small groups or individuals, we can teach on a schedule that is convenient for you. It is possible to complete course requirments in as little as three days.
How much Does It Cost?The course fee is $300 for Open Water per student. Half is due at start of course and the remaining is due upon completion. This cost includes the following:
